Under the joint aegis of Vidya Bharti North Zone and National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chandigarh (NITTTR), a three-day workshop on NEP 2020 Implementation (from 17-19 November 2023) for around 140 principals and in-charges of primary schools from states of Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and UTs of Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir, was inaugurated at NITTTR Chandigarh.
The inaugural session began with lighting the lamp by the Director Prof BR Gurjar, Vidya Bharti North Zone General Secretary ShDeshraj Sharma, Vice President ShSurendraAttri, and Punjab General Secretary Dr NavdeepShekhar.
Addressing the inaugural session Director BR Gurjar, in his address, emphasized the importance of education at every level in mother tongue. He focussed on various reforms required in school as well as higher education including technical education and need for seamless integration.

The key speaker ShDeshraj Sharma said that this workshop will play an important role in the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 at school level. He narrated the sections of NEP document giving priority to providing education in the mother tongue and how the developed countries have achieved great heights in education using their language as the strength.
Area Vice President SurendraAtriji expressed his gratitude to everyone. This workshop will continue till the afternoon of 19th November. In the inaugural session, ShHarsh Kumar, ShSubhash Mahajan, Dr.MeenakshiSood and Shri Vijay Singh Nadda were also present.
